Excited to share that my fantastic PhD supervisor and mentor, Professor Matthew Yee-King, has written an insightful book titled "Build AI-Enhanced Audio Plugins with C++". Today, he donated a copy to the Goldsmiths, University of London library.

Following the completion of "The Complete React Developer Course (w/ Hooks and Redux)"course on Udemy by Andrew Mead, I decided to build a little web app to practice my new set of skills.🔥
I am not sure about you guys but I need to apply the learnings to my own context in order to get a good understanding.

I thought about something simple that I really need on a weekly/daily basis and made a shopping list web app.🌐 The app uses the followings:
✅ React (Front-end rendering )
✅ React-Router (Client-side routing)
✅ Redux (Managing states)
✅ Express (Web Server for static assets)
✅ Firebase (Back-end service)

There is not much thought into the design process and it is definitely not super user friendly but I just wanted to combine the learnings quickly and make something.💻

I took advantage of today's bank holiday to learn more about the MERN stack. I built this exercise tracking app following a great YouTube tutorial video. The stack acronym stands for: ✅ Mongo (database)
✅ Express (backend framework)
✅ React (front-end library)
✅ Node (Js runtime environment)

I am currently taking the ''The complete React developer course" course on Udemy and produced my very first application using this new framework. The course also covers great tools and libraries to include in your projects such as Babel, WebPack and Sass.🔥
