I’m playing music/guitar/sound-fx for an incredible play called Lost in Del Valle. We’re about to start our second week of shows at @sohoplayhousenyc (The Huron Room). It runs Wed-Sun until May 3rd.
This is an autobiographical story written and performed by @nedvanzandt. If you love movies, punk rock, and rough n’ tumble Chelsea Hotel NYC history, this is your jam. It’s a tale of “Sex, Drugs, Rock n’ Roll, and Redemption.” It hits hard. It’s raw. It’s refined. It’s deeply funny, dark, and heartfelt.
Over the past couple of months we’ve been in rehearsals and previews. It’s been a great experience supporting Ned’s story with music. It’s also been a joy to witness the way director @amirarison and him have dialed in the show for a minimalist and intimate stage.
Having a blast bringing the rock n’ roll guitar among other sounds to this gut wrenching and ferociously wild true story.
