I saw this coming a few years ago …

Wanted to catch the waveeeee.

Got the surfboard, started paddling!

Months and months of not going outside at a time. For years on end.

Lot of sacrifice to get here.

Went through the phase of brushing my teeth in the shower… that was a fun. Now I try to take more slow mornings, but still optimized.

To compete on the highest levels.

What a dream!

As the buisness scales it’s been really beautiful making it out of survival.

For years i reinvested every dollar i had.

Heck, in January I finally out of the the debt i leveraged.

Then I aped a (relatively) costly mastermind 🤣.

Did the same thing last month for the coach that will take my mindset to the next level.

I never thought I’d spend this much in info.

Suppose once you’re hooked you’re hooked.

So many learnings in scaling an agency.

Leveling up every area of life.

The biggest obstacle is the mind.

Reality from unreality.

Clarity.

Navigating self at the deepest levels.

Mannno. I’m having a blast.

Learning now that I need more uhh…

Time away from the code. Listen to the mind a bit more.

More parts of the never ending onion to peel.

The balance and going outside stuff does get fun and I enjoy it when done at a high level.

Was looking at Doha too… haven’t explored that part of the world yet. 2027 I’ll do a lot more (deeper) traveling. The turn the phone off and wonder type.

Lots to learn from @jowau in our many conversations.

Joao is a Brazilian American that moved to the states at a young age. Interesting to imagine such a different life. Move away from everything you know to a different country. Different schools, people, language. An outsider. I’ve met a lot of people like this from different cultures, that end up bringing a lot of what they have learned to their home countries and becoming very successful.

I can relate a lot with Joao since I moved schools every few years. I’ve been called a Gringo for the last 4 years around LATAM, before that I was in Miami basically still a gringo, Thailand I was a Farang and had many other titles across the world. (Some, like Serbia, just used profanity)

During a cacao ceremony earlier in the yearJoao opened my mind a bit to different way to build my business “I don’t talk to clients.”.

Thought it was interesting.

I didn’t want to talk to clients if I don’t want to.

Now I don’t have to. The conundrum of scaling the way I have is my clients are pretty cool- so I still pop in time to time. Things are pretty chill when you deliver.

What I’ve found in my journey is sometimes it’s just one sentence that makes a profound impact.
