Standing in the fires of life and cooling myself in the sweet mundanes of my hometown I find myself wondering if my younger self would be proud to be away from the sweet nothing's of Evansville or if I would ask if the roars of Nashville were only meant to drown out the calls to home. Evansville.. I miss you but at the same time I feel like you are pushing me away and becoming something I don't recognize.
