Lucy Bronze, Mariona Caldentey, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Wieke Kaptein star in ‘Nothing Off The Table’, a no holds barred conversation platforming the life stories of some of the world’s best players like never before.

Breaking free from the usual club lines and media settings that shape how players interact, VERSUS and Nike created a rare environment where global stars can come together, connect across club colours, and express themselves openly.

All four players joined VERSUS editor-in-chief Amie Cripps for a first-of-its-kind conversation about what it takes to be the very best. It’s about who these players really are, what they really think, and how they really see the game today.

Chloe Kelly is unbreakable.

The Arsenal and England baller experienced one of the darkest moments in her career earlier this year when she was left sidelined by Manchester City. Without a club to play for, and just months before the Euros, she considered taking a break from football. Even contemplating a permanent one.

“There was so much noise — so many opinions, and no one really knew the truth, and they still don’t, not really” she explains when asked about that period. “When I posted ‘that’ statement, I felt relieved. It was the first time in a long time I felt in control again.”

If that time showed the world anything, it’s that Chole Kelly is built different. And to say she’s reclaimed her joy since would be an understatement. She’s back playing the type of football we all expect from her: expressive and audacious with a healthy amount of shithousery. But for the 27-year-old West Londoner, there’s more to her game than the sport itself.

Her status as a cultural icon has been well and truly cemented. Appearing in Nike x Corteiz campaigns alongside Edgar Davids? Check. Linking up with fellow West London native and childhood friend Ellis Gilbert for Talk Nice Studios? Check. Dropping the cleanest Touchline Drip fits as a Baller League manager? Check. CK isn’t a purveyor of the culture, she embodies it. And she’s about to represent once again on the biggest stage this summer.

VERSUS sat down with Chloe Kelly to talk about why her move to Arsenal was the best decision she could make, relishing the opportunity to support young Lionesses like Michelle Agyemang at the Euros, her unparalleled love for West, and most importantly, remaining true to herself in times of adversity.

Chloe Kelly has officially made a landmark switch from Nike to adidas.

The Arsenal and Lionesses forward has been spotted wearing adidas boots over the past few months, including the brand’s first-ever women’s-specific model, the F50 Sparkfusion, but now the rumours have been confirmed.

Announced in a video starring Kano, the MC welcomes west London’s finest to the Three Stripes family from one gamechanger to another – two GOATS of their respective fields.

An icon both on and off the pitch, Kelly was instrumental in England winning the Euro 2022 final, where she scored the winning goal in extra time against Germany, securing the nation’s first major women’s trophy.

As if that wasn’t enough, she cemented her place in history with decisive penalties in Finalissima 2023 and crucial goal contributions during Euro 2025.

Back in January, it was reported that a seven-figure deal for Kelly was in the works. The adidas roster now boasts a winning line-up with Chloe Kelly joining the likes of Aitana Bonmatí, Trinity Rodman, and fellow teammate Alessia Russo, alongside others.

Whilst Russo is positioned as the face of the Predator in the UK, Kelly joins the adidas family and will wear the F50 Sparkfusion.

Temwa Chawinga is already a legend. Wrote her name into the history books with a hatty of accolades. First regular season hat-trick in club history. First of her career and the first of the 2026 NWSL season. Definition of a triple threat. Even Mahomes had to tip his hat in respect to the TEMVP. If you’re not already familiar with TC’s game, here’s a two-word summary: Too. Cold. What else can you expect from a two-time Golden Boot winner? Been breaking records since she joined the league. Not talking Dave when we say greatness like this Doesn’t Just Happen. Had to wait a few games for her first goal of the season, real ones know she was just loading up. A Scorcher from birth, so it’s only right Malawi’s finest is carrying the flame for her club.

Is it a celebration without a kakalika dance? Remember how dabbing took over the game and Azonto had us all throwing limbs? Well this move is doing the same. Hailing from Ghana via DopeNation, the trend has take over the beautiful game. The dance move difficulty might be on easy but the results go hard. Doing the defence like mumu then saying “hwe adde” is infinite amounts of aura. The land of the Black Stars has given us yet another golden moment. Medaase.

Bunny Shaw. Not talking Koffee when we say The Admin has to Toast to this Gifted baller. Bagged a last-minute brace to send Chelsea down a rabbit hole. From trailing 2-0 to winning 2-3. The sharp shooter in baby blue had the opps bawling their eyes out in extra time. Dropped a 10/10 performance to send Citeh to their first FA Cup final in years. Some things you can be Shaw of: if Bunny’s on your team, you might be down but never out. That’s now 19G + 4A in 21 games. Had defenders screaming “what is this BS?!” all season long. On track to wrap up 25/26 with the Golden Boot and a potential domestic double. The rumour mill might be grinding with debates on her future. But this baller will always be the truth.

Manchester United pulled up runway-ready against Sunderland this weekend. Their unreleased adidas ‘Chinese’ pre-match anthem jacket collab is straight fire. Inspired by traditional Chinese martial arts jackets, Tangzhuang, the suede release features a Mandarin collar and hand knotted buttons. An adaptation of the Three Stripes’ Originals Chinese track top released earlier this year. Yanited’s version places both the adidas Trefoil logo and Red Devils motif front and centre. Although there’s no official release date for what might be the coldest football jacket of the season, best believe it’s a must cop.

Football shirts have long done more than represent players on a pitch; they help shape identity, connect fans, and become part of a nation’s visual culture.

Released earlier this year, Nike’s U.S. Soccer kits are two distinct, yet complementary uniforms that are meant to be aspirational, for both the U.S.’s hopes in the tournament this summer and the long-term future of football in the country.

For VERSUS, Zoe Allen explores how Nike have given the United States a clearer identity in football, amid a ripe time to reinvent what the sport in America looks and feels like.
