@tiffanysshowpattaya is one of Thailand’s longest-running stage productions — fifty years of choreography, costume and spectacle. For its 50th anniversary, the team behind it wanted the audio to finally catch up with the visuals.

Bangkok production company Mr. Team built a TiMax SoundHub-powered spatial system around a new Martin Audio rig — with the entire switchover from old to new happening in a single overnight changeover. The first immersive show, Crystal, opened at the end of February. Fifty years on, the audience reaction was, by all accounts, immediate.

@timaxspatial made all this effortless with object based mixing and the TiMax D4 tracker system. Tracking the cast and Myles across the stage was a set and forget experience. The flexibility of the system in its ground breaking image definitions workflow meant that even though we were on a Left/Right System we could fine tune how speakers handed off an object to one another.
