Velkomen til «Dans for alle!»

I høve @dansensdager 2026 har vi lyst å prøve noko heilt nytt og inviterer difor til «Dans for alle».

Onsdag 29.april kl 19-20 på Karstadbygget er du velkomen til å lære og danse årets dansens dager dans av @tonekittelsen. Du treng inga danseerfaring for å kome- ta med ein venn, kollega, nabo, barn eller forelder eller besteforelder. Arrangementet er ope for alle og på slutten av samlinga vil ungdomane i YKS Ung vise ein liten smakebit av det dei jobbe med mot årets premiere.

Røyster er et koreografisk verk av Solveig Styve Holte, utviklet i samarbeid med profesjonelle dansekunstnere, musikere og kostymedesigner – og med ungdom fra Ålesund, Ørsta, Volda og Nordfjord som utøvere.
Forestillingen utforsker hvordan ulike kropper, viljer og stemmer kan eksistere side om side i et felles uttrykk. Bevegelsene oppstår i møtet mellom mennesker – i det å gi og ta imot, berøre og bli berørt, bære og bli båret. En samdans om relasjoner, lytting og gjensidig avhengighet.

Røyster er den første produksjonen i YKS Ung, et nytt flerårig kunstprosjekt knyttet til Ysteholen Koreografiske Senter.

Med bakgrunn frå erfaringane våre av arbeidet i YKS Ung i 2025 har vi fått støtte frå @mrfylkeskommune til å utvikle ein pilot for DKS og ungdomstrinnet som vi skal ut med denne våren, popup forestilling og verksted.

Nydelig å vere i gong med testing i studio✨✨✨

2025 var året YKS Ung gjekk frå å vere ein draum og ei skildring på papiret til å verte verkeleg og så mykje meir enn vi kunne drøymt om!

Å skape YKS Ung med eit eineståande og dedikert kunstnerisk team og å få bli kjend med og følge modning og utvikling til ein slik strålande gjeng med unge menneske- det er ei stor gåve! Takk til alle som løftar arbeidet vårt og slik gjer det mulig for oss å skape det vi drøymer om.Vi gler oss til 2026 og ynskjer alle eit godt nytt år✨✨✨

Som første scenekunstner i Møre og Romsdal med kunstnerisk doktorgrad ved KHiO, markerer du en viktig milepæl for regionen❣️

Under årets festival delte du tre verk med publikum: Å Veve Tid, Røyster og Frå Form til Famling – hver på sitt vis sterke møter mellom mennesker, minner og bevegelse.

En stor takk også til Jugendstilsenteret og KUBE, og Parken kulturhus for samarbeid om produksjon.
