This golden boy and I go way back yet we just met IRL!

Shout out to @natsummerbell for surprising me with the award I won but never received for ā€œDance Recording of the Year 2011ā€.

The JUNO is only awarded to Canadians and has to be purchased by Non-Canadians. I never bothered to pay for the award. I never really cared about the trophy itself cause I knew we won and more-so what the song means to the fans that were bumpin’ it and singing along to it at the shows! šŸ–¤ šŸ–¤ šŸ–¤

It’s ā€œjustā€ an object but I have to admit I got emotional when I unboxed it and realized sometimes looking at objects represents something meaningful and reminds you of some cool shit you were part of that in hindsight feel even more special than they did in the moment.
It made it all the more special that my friend who feels as nostalgic about that particular time was so thoughtful and went out of her way to gift me my award reminding me that
ā€œyou did that and you should have itā€

HNY! I’m reflecting on the year we’ve had with our tea brand and hats we have worn in going from a loose leaf tea brand COVID baby project to producing a RTD sparkling beverage that’s meant to empower, connect and while delicious doesn’t take itself too serious.
We wanna raise a can to every costumer, friend, supporter and partner that has shown up for us, with us and shared in the excitement of our brand.

Truth be told it’s tough and we have been close to calling it quits multiple times due to various bumps on this entrepenurial road. This journey has catapulted us into multiple roles and taught us skill sets on the fly each step of the way.

From production, branding chemistry, admin, accounting, creative, social… your girls did alllllll of that!
Hopefully - with the right partner and investment some of the responsibilities can be delegated in the future as we continue to grow.

One of the best parts for sure was hosting pop ups throughout 2025 like this SIP & TELL female founders salon at Soho Warehouse in LA. Meeting other creatives and founders and sharing our story, mingling, connecting to community is the cherry on top of this whole thing. It takes a village and if anything badbitchtea is meant to inspire and add a little sparkle to your life 🫧

Here’s to all of our day ones! Cheers!

Cheers!

you can place an order at badbitchtea.com xX

I’ve been having an on again off again relationship with making music for nearly 3 decades! I started professionally when I was barely a teenager...
I’ve seen the business change and go through so many iterations. Some things were better ā€œback in the dayā€ some were worse and somewhere in between was the sweet spot. I dont think I’ll ever quit music entirely even though I want to retire from it every other day and have taken many creative detours.

I’ve met some of the best and worst people on this journey and am so grateful to have been involved in so many projects that have made an impact- as a writer, a singer/performer or both. It’s kind of wild to think I’ve contributed across so many genres, whether as front facing artist, behind the scenes, on/off screen and stage. Sometimes playing small parts sometimes big.

Maybe 2026 will be the year I retire from my part-time rockstar life entirely. Maybe not. Stay tuned.

If there’s one thing I will always do, I’ll make the most of it :)
2.5 days in GermanyšŸ‡©šŸ‡Ŗ went like: taking breaths of freshest air, yapping by the river with canned prosecco like it’s 1998 with my high school bestie, hopping trains and clocking 12k steps a day, picking up my exhibited awards and memorabilia at the museum, dinner with some of my favorite people in Stuttgart, walking down my cobblestone memory lane, farmers market, coffee talks and walks, clubbing with my friends’ kids, getting my ā€œspaghetti eisā€ fix, taking myself on a KƤsespƤtzle date, and savoring a proper German Brotfrühstück.
I’m sure I’m forgetting somethingā€¦šŸ„Øā¤ļø
