Hey everyone - we have an announcement to make.
Shockwave Animation and the creators of I Wanna Eat Your Guts have decided to end our collaboration on the series due to creative differences. Once the opening is finished, that'll be the end of Shockwave's time with I Wanna Eat Your Guts.
We wanted to preface by saying we thank you all for your support on the work we've done in the past almost two years - the kind words and enthusiasm you've thrown our way have made a world of difference to the team. We had a blast working on the series, and we absolutely can’t wait to share the amazing work our talented team of animation rockstars has completed so far.
We wish the creators luck with the series' future direction and can't wait to see where they take it! Though we'll now be audience members instead of creative partners, we'll never forget what we learned as a studio from our involvement in this series and the invaluable experience we gained.
As mentioned, we’ll be finishing up the opening, and it'll be posted publicly for everyone to enjoy - we worked hard on it, and we think you'll all love it. We hope you'll stick around for our future endeavors as we're working on some exciting new projects that have been in the planning for a while - we’ll be sharing more details very soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
(Additionally, any merch bought will STILL be fulfilled, so don't worry if you bought something, you will get it! We'll also be doing a final sale to finish up all the stock on the site, so if you want to buy anything and you were waiting to nab something, you'll be able to.)
