Hiphop Against Genocide and Burrow Skateshop proudly present Turun Bawah Volume 3: A Push Toward Freedom — a solidarity event for Palestine. This year, our focus turns to skateboarding — not just as a sport, but as a form of resistance, freedom, and expression.
We’re shining a light on the thriving skate scene in Palestine, where despite military occupation and restricted mobility, youth continue to carve out space for joy, resilience, and community.
We’ve teamed up with SkatePal, a non-profit organization that builds skateparks and provides equipment, workshops, and support for Palestinian skaters. Their work centers around empowering youth and fostering creativity in spaces often marked by hardship and surveillance.
Through this event, we aim to bring awareness to their mission and raise funds to support their ongoing efforts in the West Bank & Gaza.
Join us for an afternoon of solidarity and culture: — A photo exhibition showcasing the Palestinian skate scene through the lens of talented photographers — A benefit show (@pirireispunx / @wecommemorate / @altrbgsatu) — A skate competition — Live graffiti sessions and silkscreen printing (@satutablecrew / @dirtydonuts) — Special merch releases
