She was honored with the Golden Horn Award for Best Original Score for her work on the film Confessions of a Gambler, directed by best-selling author Rayda Jacobs.
As a multi-talented artist, Muriel Marco seamlessly weaves diverse elementsโincluding Latin and South African musicโinto her work. In July 2017, she released her album Muri, featuring a range of styles from Swing to Chacarera and Mbaqanga to lullabies. Argentina fusion-jazz master.award-winning pianist, composer. born in Buenos Aires, she has been active in the music industry as a freelance keyboardist, bandleader, and composer.
She was honored with the Golden Horn Award for Best Original Score for her work on the film Confessions of a Gambler, directed by best-selling author Rayda Jacobs.
As a multi-talented artist, Muriel Marco seamlessly weaves diverse elementsโincluding Latin and South African musicโinto her work. This unique fusion infuses her performances with vibrant energy and creative flair. In July 2017, she released her album Muri, featuring a range of styles from Swing to Chacarera and Mbaqanga to lullabies. The album serves as an unconscious reflection of Murielโs life-long pursuit of her musical path.
Murielโs international artistic footprint spans prestigious stages such as the North Sea Jazz Festival๏ผRotterdam๏ผand the Cape Town International Jazz Festival. Her original compositions have also earned her the prestigious Golden Horn Award (South African Film and Television Awards) for Best Original Score.
