Today I read that a 24 year old woman cancer patient in a Guangdonghospital ordered food delivery and paid the delivery guy to sit with her for 2 hours. Yep. The isolation levels in our culture is off the Richter scale.

No amount of retail therapy, food, Netflix, wellness programs, working alone can alleviate the lack of genuine human connection and care.

What do you do when you are aware of news like this?

I go out there, no matter where, to connect with people. It’s okay if they ignore me, it’s okay if they avoid my gaze, it’s in my DNA to keep connecting with people. It’s okay if there is no response, but every hello said, they have felt it, and it will be there somewhere in their body.

I deeply love people and no amount of rejection will stop me. 🥰

Working as a creative, our greatest asset and strength is to FEEL. I did not learn to feel because I’m a creative. I work as a creative because feeling is my natural ability. If we don’t feel, there is no magic. If there were no feelings then this industry would fold.

I feel every piece of clothing I buy and style. Our love is strong.

It is loving to be transparent (transparency is not confessional nor baring every private detail in your life). But if a relationship ends with no communication, but someone disappearing or cutting off communication, no explanations, nothing, then the unsettlement of being ghosted can crush someone for a lifetime of feeling being rejected. Neediness or withdrawal symptoms may appear. Anyone who can dismiss someone will definitely have been dismissed, and have not renounced fully this hurt and therefore hurl dismissal to others. How I healed dismissal was I stopped dismissing how I felt. In the beginning I felt everything to the slightest detail of unloving behaviors and I would react immediately. Now I have learned with a greater fitness in my body to turn it around. When I feel the energy of dismissal directed at me, I refuse to be shut down. I will continue to connect, I refuse to feel unworthy.I will keep reaching out and also keep asking for help, I will adore those who have dismissed me, unendingly with zero expectation to have it received back. I will not dismiss back even though I really want to, but I stay open, loving and warm.

We are all used. It is not the people but the energy that has to be slayed. I deeply hate that people dismiss and disconnect with each other thinking we have to avoid and distance each other. Some of the grandest relationships get devastated thinking it’s the person who is the issue when we are all used, and it’s the energy that comes through us that has used us to dismiss and devastate. If this is not realised, it could hurt someone for a lifetime.

I’m sharing this because I refuse to have distance with people. I love people too much. It is devastating that there is even one relationship on this planet that is disharmonious.
