Music for me has always been about being an outlet. I enjoy my pen game and creative direction, it’s all a rush for me. Creating and being a genuine creative! Grab your fur is a track inspired by women who really run shit. It’s very bossy, and captures women that have the mindset of abundance. At this point in my art I only want to convey a message that outlines with my personality and growth. This journey has been nothing short of amazing! Jan 2024 I decided that it was time to work on my professional pivot. I knew that I had to be strategic and intentional for the next steps in my life! Over the next 2.5 years I made many sacrifices that changed my life’s trajectory for the better for many years to come. Although this journey was not my first in higher education, it was the first where I felt that I had a grip on life. This degree is more than a piece of paper for me. I’ve beat the odds, I made it essentially, even though there is much more to come! My life is a testimony that no matter your circumstances you can have the life of your dreams, because i definitely dreamt this lifestyle, prayed, and worked for it. Those closest to me know this story and it’s a beautiful one. I give a little insight when I share that I got my first own room at 16 briefly, then truly as a sophomore in undergrad and always shared 1 bathroom with the household. From a very young age I had a lot to prove, I was blessed to stay out of trouble bc as a younger woman I took a lot of miscalculated risk. This phase of life is one that I feel is a reward. I really believe in myself with all of my heart and I’ve never let any opinion from outsiders waiver me. I could go on and on. But, to sum it all up thank you to my support system!
