I’ve been intending to make @garretjrichard ‘s Blue Leilani since I saw it posted online in May 2020. Finally, thanks to his book Tropical Standard, I had the detailed guidance to put the pieces together. It was a learning experience to coconut oil wash gin, make oleo saccharum and the lime punch syrup, and manually juice a pineapple (easier than I expected!). I’d like to thank him for sharing his knowledge and for giving me inspiration to learn and create.
