Somewhere between the neon lights of Brooklyn, old diners, quiet sidewalks and Mark’s endlessly charming neighbourhood tour, we found ourselves living inside a beautifully shot indie film. Through the lens of our dear friend, photographer and creative director Mark Shaw, ordinary moments turned cinematic — laughter by a vintage car, coffee counter conversations, winter walks and fleeting pauses glowing like scenes from a New York postcard.
He somehow made us feel less like tourists and more like characters with a story to tell — timeless, effortless and just a little bit like celebrities (ahem!) on a magical day.
These photographs are more than memories from our US trip; they are little love letters to friendship, to Brooklyn, and to the art of being truly seen.
