So proud to be sharing the trailer for my new film ‘BLUE MORPHO: The Three Act Play’ screening this week in London, Paris & Oxford. The film captures @eobofficial in the landscape that inspired his wonderful new album, due for release with @transgressivehq. Another adventure with @upthegamecreative complete - full credits to follow for the incredible team that came together to make this one happen.
I had the pleasure of directing the concert film of @sam_fender’s absolutely massive show at London Stadium along with the wonderful @mrtobyl for @upthegamecreative & @polydorrecords. It premieres tomorrow night!

Ten years ago I made a film called ‘Crème Anglaise’ about the making of the @foals album What Went Down.
I had helped out with preproduction in Oxford and the band asked me to join them in France to document the recording of the album. I broke my ankle just before we left so I shot most of it whilst on crutches. I hobbled around with a huge old vhs camera without knowing what I was really doing. I’m still very proud of the strange film I made.
Since then Ive spent the last decade touring the world with the band and in between Ive directed many more films. We’ll never know how many lives that very special album has touched over the years, but I know for sure, that it changed my life forever.

New work for @glassanimals out now! Their song Take A Slice never had an official video made for it - I teamed up with @jonathanjhiggs to create a new kind of music video in the form of an endlessly regenerative digital artwork in response to how much the song has been used in meme culture across the years since its release. Our bespoke code sees the video draw live from YouTube, revealing a few seconds of a clip, before moving on to the next - all edited to the beat of the track. When you reach the end you can take another strange slice of the internet and find the whole video is totally different on each play. Visit ifuwatchthisustink.net to discover the artwork. Huge thanks to @scottoftheriver for his incredible coding work to help make our strange idea a reality. Respect to @chi_meatrui for the amazing graphics and @noahsniff for content analysis. Many thanks to @dnckwrts and Fred at @polydorrecords for all their energy along the way. Best experienced on desktop/laptop - you wouldn’t wear sunglasses in an art gallery.

It’s Bandcamp Friday, so - for today - they don’t take any of the artist’s revenue. All the money from Of Birds goes direct to Kit Monteith & Jeremy Moors. If you care about supporting artists, this is the best possible moment to pick up a copy of their album. What a time to be alive!
