Success is incredibly personal and beautifully multi-dimensional, might have shed a few tears making this 🥹 in awe and so grateful watching her grow into who she’s becoming. ILY

I began 2025 fearful but hopeful.
This was my first full year as a financial consultant, a decision I made in 2024, not because I stopped loving dance, but because my dreams for my future grew bigger and so did my love for dance. It is so sacred to me, I wanted to protect it.

Becoming an FC has been the biggest leap of faith of my life.
It felt like standing at the foot of a massive mountain, unsure if I would survive the climb. I had no certainty, only some tools, a lot of hope, and some courage to throw myself into it in June 2024.

I wrestled (and continue to) deeply with my identity.
If I am no longer Krisha the dancer/choreographer/instructor, then who am I?

I thought this year would be about sacrifice.
About slowly letting go of dance in order to survive and focus on the business.
But life surprised me. Dance never left.
It remained fully intertwined in my days and it evolved.
I carried guilt, feeling torn between tunnel vision focus on my new career and choosing dance.
somehow feeling like I was overdoing one and never enough for the other.
Slowly I learned that…

Maybe I do not have to choose.
Maybe it is not one or the other.
Maybe the path does not need to look one way for me to arrive where I am meant to be.

Despite the challenges and my perfectionist heart that is never quite satisfied, today I can finally acknowledge this truth.
That I’m blessed to achieve everything my heart desired.
The people I connected with.
The students I journeyed alongside.
The clients who trusted a new adviser.
The goals I’ve achieved (Starclub!!! 🥹)
The friends and family who held me so lovingly.
The mentors who guided me patiently.
The opportunities to still dance, still create.
Somehow, I had it all.
And in hindsight, everything feels perfect.

My word for 2025 was Glory.
I thought if I could live fully, honestly, and courageously, in a way that glorifies God, wouldn’t that be such a glorious feeling?

Now I know.
Indeed, it is. 🤍

Every season has a reason. I’m grateful to know we’re both here too.
After all this time, finally making something tgt and sharing little pieces of our hearts along the way 🤍

Something from months back, at a time that felt really tender on the inside. Today I found myself looking back at this video and, strangely enough, feeling like I’m right back there in those same feelings.

Anticipatory grief. That’s what I’ve been feeling. Grieving a time that has not yet come.
The ache of human emotion… but wow, am I human and alive.

Thank God for art that captures and holds these moments.
