Nocturne 001 – Jiale
We’re excited to share the first mix in the Nocturne series!For this edition, we have @jiale , a NYC-based multimedia artist. In this mix, Jiale takes us on a journey through deep atmospheric broken beat techno that progresses into more club ready bass music. Here are some words from Caleb:
“My mix for Nocturne was recorded as a way to document my first year of DJing. Over that time, my taste has been informed by many different genres and sounds, and making this helped me find a way to reconcile them. I ended up having a lot of fun blending and reinterpreting tracks from some of my favorite producers to create an introspective dance floor atmosphere. I hope you enjoy!”

The eighth installment of Ambient Flow Live will be Friday, January 23 at 6:30PM at @secondsideyoga featuring Jiale aka @calebjzhang!
As an artist, designer, and fashion label owner in addition to DJ and music selector, Caleb’s creative sensibilities span across various mediums, with a specific eye for textures and otherworldly aesthetics. Musically, Caleb gravitates to futuristic, organic, and bright sounds across multiple genres, creating soundscapes that are both hypnotic and infectious.
Join us for a 75 minute restorative flow led by me and accompanied by a DJ set from Caleb for the first edition of Ambient Flow Live for 2026!
