STUFF HOUSE - eine temporäre Fassade für das 55m lange Zeughaus in der Auenlandschaft von Flamatt (FR)

Zwölf Flusssteine aus dem Bett der Sense dienen als Auflager für die Installation. In diese Steine sind Schraubenanker eingedreht, durch die orangefarbene Bootsseile geführt werden. Über diese Seile wird das Textil vertikal bewegt, wodurch sich die Fassade nach Bedarf öffnen und schliessen lässt.

Wetlands store water, filter nutrients, and preserve traces of the past. Yet 80% in Switzerland have vanished since 1900. What if we began to see these forgotten landscapes not just as relics of the past, but as vital parts of our future?

«neuland» is a two-part project — essay film + live performance — imagining the future of these vital landscapes.
