Rose Colored Glasses is finally out on all platforms <3

This song means the world to me. As most of you probably know, my mom passed away when I was 15, and she was the match that lit my fire and passion for performing. Her love made me believe in myself enough to follow my dreams and create a life built around music. When I moved to New York and my grandma and aunt passed as well, songwriting literally saved my life. It provided me an opportunity to turn my heartbreak into creativity and to make something beautiful that people can hear and relate to. This song was one of the first moments I thought about my mom and remembered why I do everything I do.
Grief is a natural part of life that everyone experiences, but the hard times make the good times feel so much more worth it. Heartbreak is bound to happen, but the person who has guided you through everything and will continue to forever is yourself. Learn to love yourself the way you love others, a lesson I’m extremely grateful I got to learn from my mom. There’s a lot of black and white in this world, but all you can do sometimes is look out for the roses.

I’m also so happy that the guitar and bass on the track is my brother @hewhostarethuntospoons thank you for recording and helping with this track from halfway across the country
