Been listening to the Buffalo record my whole trip while in Japan so Ike’s been in my thoughts a lot lately, weird timing. For those of you uninitiated, listen to Frank Zappa’s Joes Garage album. Specifically Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up. So much soul. More of those golden members from back in the day will slowly disappear in the next two decades, so if you ever get a chance to see ANY Zappa alumni, don’t think twice, go watch them play.
