🚨𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻: 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁!🚨

How do you name something that didn’t exist in your wildest dreams?✨

For Debbie, the answer came from the women she was working with in India🇮🇳 They suggested 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶 – a Sanskrit word meaning goddess.

A name inspired by the small altar at the centre of the workshop, where every morning and evening began with 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲.

And somehow, it fit. Because from the beginning, Devï was never just about clothing.

It was about women supporting one another.
Creating together.
Trusting the process.
And building something bigger than any one person could have imagined🧵💛

“𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮” 🇮🇳 A sentence Debbie Kirsch of @devi.clothesheard her whole life – until one day, she actually did.

No plan.
No design background.
Just a message, a yes… and a plane ticket✈️

Two weeks later, she walks into a workshop in 𝗝𝗼𝗱𝗵𝗽𝘂𝗿: colours, energy, women creating, learning, rebuilding their lives through craft.

And in that moment: “𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜’𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲… 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗜’𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆”.

Why talk about craft here? Because long before @neimenster became a cultural space, the Grund was a place of 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴🧵

Along the Alzette River🌊, generations of 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀👝, 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀🌾, 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵𝘀🗝️ and other craftsmen built their livelihoods on water, skill, and manual labour. Their work wasn’t aesthetic. It wasn’t nostalgic.

It was 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹.

This district was shaped by production, by hands-on knowledge, and by a way of life where work, community, and daily rhythm were deeply interconnected.

This is why it’s all the more meaningful to bring this conversation back here – and this time with someone who does it 𝚗̲𝚘̲𝚝̲ out of 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺, but 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻✨

A new community space is growing in Eich 💛

The Tiers lieu Eich is a project funded by the Ville de Luxembourg and managed by ASTI, created as an open and welcoming space where adults and children can come together to create, learn, share ideas, and connect.

Built around community, solidarity, and DIY culture, the space will host fun and creative activities designed to bring people together, encourage creativity, and make every visit a moment of exchange and joy.

Ahead of the official opening, the team invites everyone to:
