Nell’attuale epoca digitale, assistiamo a un diffuso utilizzo degli schermi che, pur offrendoci molteplici vantaggi, ci allontana dalla ricchezza della percezione tattile delle superfici, privandoci di quella connessione fisica essenziale. Per preservare la nostra sensibilità sensoriale e evitare un’anestesia progressiva, diventa imperativo diversificare le superfici che ci circondano, garantendo che anche il tatto contribuisca a mantenere intatta la rilevanza estetica.
La bellezza naturale, spesso associata alla leggerezza, si configura come una fonte di desiderio da ammirare, sedurre e talvolta persino ad ossessionare. Tuttavia, questa forma di bellezza viene talvolta percepita come un bene dall’esistenza effimera, destinato a esaurirsi entro un determinato periodo. L’essenza della bellezza assume così le sembianze di un prodotto con limiti temporali, come se fosse intrinsecamente soggetta a una data di scadenza. Questo concetto conduce a un fenomeno in cui l’individuo rischia di essere eclissato dalla bellezza altrui, trasformandosi in soggetto e oggetto del proprio desiderio. La bellezza naturale rappresenta, dunque, il nostro prezioso patrimonio, mentre i mass media e la cultura predominante svolgono un ruolo cruciale nel definire i canoni estetici; mentre l’idea di eterna giovinezza si intreccia con tali concetti, creando un richiamo a perseguire una bellezza che sfidi il trascorrere del tempo. I focus della collezione saranno le stropicciature e l’utilizzo dell’agugliatura, trattamenti successivamente effettuati su ogni singolo tessuto presente nella collezione. Le silhouette variano da capisala over che nascondono il corpo, fit regural che accompagnano le forme naturali del corpo. Nella donna, e nell’uomo vengono utilizzate linee che evidenziano il punto vita, richiamando così il periodo massimo di tale espressione ovvero gli anni cinquanta.
