Both our Elite and Junior @youngnoteschoir were proud National Finalists, performing alongside some of the very best choirs from across the UK. It was an incredible experience for our singers and they represented us beautifully on such a prestigious stage.

A huge congratulations to our Junior Choir, who achieved 2nd Place in the Junior Creative Category. 🏆 We couldn’t be prouder of their confidence, musicality and teamwork.

A big thank you to our amazing team who helped make this possible — @nadiahadugyamfi and @zolamarcelle_ for their fantastic teaching and arrangements, @amyynarramore for her brilliant choreography, and Jamie for his beautiful piano accompaniment. Both YOUNG NOTES ELITE and YOUNG NOTES JUNIOR choirs have made it through to the BARNARDO’S NATIONAL CHOIR COMPETITION FINALS in BIRMINGHAM ON MARCH 3RD! 🙌🏻

With OVER 80 ENTRIES in each category, this is a HUGE ACHIEVEMENT.

👏 Massive well done to all our singers — and a huge thank you to our brilliant choir leaders Nadiah, Zola and Colleen for their tireless work on these pieces.

Last Saturday morning our @youngnoteschoir had the privilege of performing at Elizabeth Lodge Care Home. 💛🎶

It was a truly special morning. The residents had a wonderful time, and so did we. There were plenty of smiles and even a few happy tears — a reminder of just how powerful music can be.

Moments like this show the real value of intergenerational connections, bringing young and old together through music, joy, and shared experiences. We’re so grateful to have been part of such a meaningful morning. ✨
