Jones’ work champions the accomplishment of their ancestors. By incorporating artifacts and tribal masks in their paintings, the artist creates commentary on the importance of African Americans honoring heritage beyond what has been dictated through museum collections.

In celebration of their second anniversary in Tulsa, OK, Black Wall Street Gallery will open their New York gallery on October 10th, 2020.
