This kid…

Doing flag pulling drills in practice, we tell them to run hard. Well they both ran hard. Phoebe had the ball, neither made a cut.There was a big crash. Phoebe smashed into his nose. There was crying.

But 10 minutes later, she got back out there and pulled a flag in a game of sharks and minnows. We didn’t make her. We would have totally let her sit out the rest of practice. She got up and marched back out there all on her own.

This kid is tough. I’m in awe sometimes. I get so proud hearing the other parents talk about how tough she is, but also how hard she plays and the best part, her positive attitude.
