One more rep!I hit 170’s today with just strikes and to be honest not pushing terribly hard.So my focus will be developing power and speed and not using as much energy.

A second goal is to push through for certain time durations based on conditioning goal.
..
This is NOT about killing myself and posting motivational bullshit but rather following my exact plan and being very specific about adaptation which is guided by the @trainwithmorpheus app.

We have no affiliation with the company however I’ve been using their system for about 2 years.

The first picture is my recovery and HRV scores which help me dictate how hard my training can/should be the following day.

It also tells me if my body has recovered well from the previous days stress, sleep etc.

Check them out if you want to take your fitness to the next level.

They gave me a key to the building 🔥💪💪! @uscca has a LEGIT gym, and like everything else I have learned about the company this week, this says something!I have learned a metric shit ton about the company ethos this week and am excited to be part of this!It is bigger than I thought!

This is where I could say something awesome and tell you how to crush your goals and train till you puke.

But maybe instead I should say: Train Smarter!Based on my age my max HR should be 167ish.Well clearly that’s not the case.I know because I use @trainwithmorpheus and check recovery weekly and then set goals based on logical numbers, not guesswork!
.
I say this to everyone and most of all to my fellow 50+ warriors: Train Hard, but Smart!Firearms, Fitness, Combatuves, etc.We are too old and wise to just beat our bodies up!
