അരണ്ട neon വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെ ഇരുണ്ട തെളിമയിൽ മഞ്ഞ അമ്പസഡർ കാറിലേക് വന്നു കയറുന്ന രണ്ടു പ്രണയികളെ കാണിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് "മഞ്ഞ മീനുകൾ" അതിന്റെ യാത്ര മെല്ലെ തുടങ്ങുന്നത്... ഒരുപക്ഷെ പുതിയൊരു ജീവിതത്തിലേക്കു അവരുടെ ആദ്യ യാത്ര..

ആരുടെയൊക്കെയോ സ്നേഹത്താൽ ജനിച്ചുജീവിച്ച അവളും ഓർമ്മയുറക്കും മുൻപേ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കായി പോയ അവനും.. ആരുടേയും പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടവൻ ആഗ്രഹ്ച്ചിട്ടും ആവാതിരുന്ന ഒരുമനുഷ്യൻ കൂട്ടുകൂടലിലേക്, ചേർത്തു പിടിക്കലിലേക്ക് നടന്നു കയറുന്ന കഥ.. അകമ്പടിയായി സൂരജ് സന്തോഷിന്റെ സ്വർഗീയ സ്വരം..'മഴമീനുകൾ' ഒരു സ്വപ്നമെന്ന പോൽ സുന്ദരമാണ്..

ജീവിതം നെയ്തുകൂട്ടാനെടുക്കുന്ന ഓട്ടത്തിനിടയിൽ എന്നോ കൈവിട്ടുപോയ ആട്ടിൻകുട്ടിയെ പോലൊരു ബാല്യം വച്ചുനീട്ടുന്ന, കൈവിട്ടുപോയതൊക്കെയും തിരികെചേർക്കുന്ന, ഒറ്റയ്ക്കാവുന്ന നേരത്ത് തണലായി തീരുന്ന നനുത്ത തണുപ്പുള്ളൊരു പ്രണയകഥയാണ് "ശ്രീഹരി" പറഞ്ഞുവയ്ക്കുന്നത്.. പാടിത്തീർക്കുന്നത്.. പത്ത് മിനിട്ടുകൾ മാത്രമുള്ളൊരു കുഞ്ഞു കഥ.. പ്രതീക്ഷകൾക്ക്, പുതിയതുടക്കങ്ങൾക്.. കൂട്ട് എന്നൊരു അർത്ഥം കൂടിയുണ്ടെന്ന്, കൈവിട്ടുപോയതൊന്നും എങ്ങും പോയില്ലെന്നും അവസാന ഷോട്ടിലെ നിറം പിടിപ്പിച്ച സുന്ദരമായൊരു ഫോട്ടോ ഫ്രയിം പോലെ അവ നിങ്ങളെയും തേടി എവിടെയോ കാത്തിരിപ്പുണ്ടെന്നും നൊസ്റ്റാൾജിയയുടെയും, ബംഗാളി ഭാഷയുടെ കാല്പനികതയുടെയും ചൂട് പറ്റിയൊരു ഗാനവുമായി മഴമീനുകൾ പാടിത്തീർക്കുമ്പോൾ നനുത്തൊരു പൊടിമഴയിലെന്ന പോലെ ഉള്ളിലൊരു തണുപ്പ് അരിച്ചിറങ്ങുന്നുണ്ട്..

ആ തണുപ്പിന്റെ ഒടുവിലത്തെ ഫ്രെമിൽ രണ്ട് പ്രണയിതാക്കൾ സ്വപ്നം പോലെ ചേർന്ന് കിടക്കും.. അവയിലൊരാൾ 'ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പ്രണയിക്കുന്നു ' എന്ന് പതിയെ മന്ത്രമോതും.. ചെറിയൊരു പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ അവളെപ്പോലെ നമ്മളും സ്വർണമത്സ്യം കണക്കെ തുടിച്ചു വിളറും..
