On June 18th, the LA City Council commemorated Juneteenth during special presentations of their council meeting! Mafe was honored to bring culture and music to the space and share the history of our music with expressions of the liberation of our people and the diaspora. #juneteenth #djembe #dundun #westafricanmusic
Did you feel the Drums of Liberation? We sure did!
It was a night of ancestral vibrations and collective healing! What a way to start the year! A big thank you to our entire team that made this one of our best events to date!
