It was a pleasure catching up with Elis from @e.l.s_designs and @greengradsuk Grads at SDS 2026. Looking back at Surface Design Show 2026 (3-5 February), the event that starts the design calendar for architects and designers from around the world with attendees from over 50 countries.🌎

We had a lovely conversation with @izzykellydesign from Fallen Furniture at Surface Design Show 2026, where she shared insights from her @greengradsuk project, a powerful exploration of the UK’s mass importation of timber and how the industry can rethink its material footprint.
