I live in a castle with my boyfriend ~ hand-painted animation art piece by SUMMER @summermorrison will be showing at 7 pm at strange brew 27/03!

Next week Wednesday come down to Bristol for art followed by catwalk and gig extravaganza!!

special treats at the Merch stand, including completely new T-shirt designs, one of one glass beads by @emmewears and collab tights by @emme_wears @centre.half

She is currently a UAL student and has worked on various showcases of her work, very recently at @rabbit.baby.2 fashion show at @thegeorgetavern where she projected one of her delicate animations.

Her work has also been in the Bargehouse gallery and TAINT! Exhibition.

We are delighted to have her as one of our artists. Very much looking forward to her puppet show in èter spaces, the next exhibition by Ethereal Maison 🫀

She is using a poem as her artist statement and we find it so special and absolutely mesmerizing.

Dirty lace 
Mouldy strawberries
The ants will always invade your picnic, ants running over the gingham into your basket 
As your white blouse yellows and the buttons loosen
Pearls roll when the string of your necklace snaps 
You find sweetness in the bitten even when there is a wasp in your jam
It’s the eb and flow - a tale on an antique scroll 
The blossom wilts and grows as rabbits dig there burrows 
No need to complicate the innate 

Fruits hang heavy between my teeth
Crushed under my jaw the syrup leaks out, drowning my pallet, I want to purge it out 
There is an orchard that’s grows in my stomach and overspills into my heart
Catharsis in the harvest 
A tangle of personal symbols 
Caught between confession and mystery 
With each brush a burning blush 
Cutting myself open to expose the fruit trees that live underneath 
And I hope that the fruits I bleed out are sweet

‘Mole gut’ a short hand drawn stop motion film. dead moles have been usedfor divination since ancient times in the west county. Country When a mole is placed within the proximity of a person, it’s said they burrow deep into their secretes. They are creatures of the underworld, living down in the damp soil. After leaving the mole close to your chosen person, cut open the belly. And examine the guts. Within the entrails all will be revealed brought to light
