Working that pickle 🥒
Some snaps from the gig I’ve been on the last couple weeks.
Shout out to the Set Decorator, Michelle Hall, and the leadman, Dustin Blankenship. We worked together in the Solidarity Crew days. Rad to work together as in a real crew capacity.
Not pictured: the room we dressed and painstakingly mounted and secured large pew pews and heavy protective gear on the walls only to have to have to remove/rearrange it all as soon as production showed up 😂 #setlife
1. If you didn’t know, the hand-held remote for operating the gate is called a pickle! 🥒
Be kind to the pickle, don’t let it slam to the ground and for fks sake please check it’s not hanging out, or magged to, the side before you shut the gate and smash the poor guy—he’s just a sweet baby pickle 🥺 be nice to him.
2. Drive in to work and the first of far too many landscape shots. Sorry not sorry the location was awe-inspiring.
3. Good luck cloud on my first morning!
4. Close-up of the good luck cloud, yw
5. WIP. Waiting for paint to dry on these hoops so I can coat ‘em again.
6. WIP. Adding flowers to the hoops.
7. My girl and Set Decorator on this thing, Michelle Hall, absolutely beaming in the peachy sunset 🌅
8. Not me taking selfies having no inkling of the severe sweat stains all down the front of my shirt.
9. And even worse in the back!
That day required a very tall and very chilled glass of wine as soon as I was home. Been loving Gruners lately.
10. Drop offs at WB.
It’s been far too long since I had a truck day like this.
Felt so right, riding with good people and moving our bodies, loading and unloading, walking through the prop houses again…
Magic in the mundane can be returned again.
The magic is in the missing.
11. I’m out babyyyyyyy!!!
I’m available again! Hit me up! 🤙🏽🤠
12. Potato tax! His face card never declines. If you made it this far, cash in!
