Megaptera, the scientific name of the humpback whale, is also the title of the new album by French producer and composer @roneofficial

The record was largely composed at sea, off the coasts of Brittany and Réunion Island, using a modular synthesizer and melodic sketches developed for an almost unreal proposition: attempting to communicate with whales through music.

With his new single “La Baleine et le Musicien (Edit),” released today, Rone opens a new chapter ahead of his album « Megaptera », due in June. « La Baleine et Le Musicien », the film of the same name, directed by Valentin Paoli, follows him as he attempts to communicate with whales through music. The track revisits a central piece from the forthcoming 15-track album in a more refined form.
