Meet Samantha – psychology researcher, storyteller and lover of beautiful living.

Currently completing her Master’s in Psychology, Samantha’s research centres around the women of Mpande and how they navigate identity amidst the constant pull of modernity. Her relationship with the rural Transkei – particularly her family’s cottage in Mpande – runs deep, shaping not only her worldview but the way she connects to people, space and style.

A lover of food, travel, gardening and design, Samantha approaches fashion with the same softness and intention she brings into every part of her life. Whether hosting friends, sharing meals from her garden, or immersing herself in the lived experiences of women around her, connection sits at the centre of everything she does.

Her style feels both romantic and liberating – using dress not as performance, but as permission: encouraging people, especially women, to live and express themselves as authentically as possible.

Through Samantha, we’re reminded that fashion can be more than aesthetic – it can be care, community and a quiet act of freedom.
