Honestly, I haven't done my taxes in 15 years. So I struck up a sweet deal with the CRA where I'd direct this H&R Block commercial and then in exchange... just still have to do my taxes. This comedic piece is just in time for tax season!

Projects like this is are why we love what we do. This was a full team effort from an amazing and scrappy crew!
Watching the script come together was super fun. Then to see wardrobe, production design and hair & makeup bring their creative flare to the table was the cherry on top.

Live by the Previs, or die by the not-knowing-if-your-shots-will-fit-the-edit-time-constraints...vis.

It's now practically a requirement I have to make a previs even on simple shoots. It asks and answers so many questions that you can solve for in pre. Even clients seem to like seeing the thought process and can better wrap their heads around the shared idea of what the heck it is we all agreed to make.
