A garden ceremony at the groom’s childhood home, surrounded by generations of memories and the people who have loved them through every chapter. Florals and design that complemented the existing architecture and landscape so seamlessly, it felt as though it had always belonged there. Nothing competed with the setting, it simply enhanced the magic of it all. I always tell mothers of the groom, all eyes will be on you when you take the dance floor. This is such an important moment. As a mother, you raised a little boy into a man, and now you are watching him take the next step of his life.
There is something so emotional and beautiful about that dance. As a mother who loves my son deeply, I can only imagine what a loving mother feels in that moment. To me, it is one of the most beautiful traditions of a wedding.
A Mother of the Groom should be dressed not only with elegance, but with presence honoring the love, grace, and strength it took to raise her son into the man he has become, and presenting him into his next chapter with pride and love. ✨💙
