In London the outdoors can seem like a million miles away, so was thrilled that the final film in our No Wasted Days series celebrated the amazing @clintyclimbing and his dedication to making the long journey from North London to climb on the south coast every weekend. Grateful for another opportunity to collab with the brilliant @shaunleongwilliams who brought this story to life with so much care and hard work. (Soft 2025 goal- post these projects sooner!)

A few years ago we got a mysterious request to film a working session on a secretive project the Arc’teryx Advanced Concepts team were doing with Google X. That secretive project turned out to be the Mo/Go, a true labour of love from the team @skip_with_joy and the AC team and is something that will hopefully be a game changer with access to the outdoors. These are genuinely some of the smartest, empathetic and hard working people I’ve gotten to document on a project and it was a pleasure getting to know the team and yoyo up and down The Chief with them all!

Belatedly posting the rest of this years @arcteryx work before we get into 2025! 2 years ago I had my first experience of an @allrise event in San Francisco and was blown away by the alternative approach to climbing and the diversity in the crowd. In May we released a project about @muslimhikers for the @arcteryx
No Wasted Days campaign that was really close to my heart.

Having spent the first 29 years of my life in English cities where the outdoors meant "the park", it was a privilege to tell the story of how the brilliant @najwaismail7 found some peace in the (mostly wet) British outdoors through @muslim.hikers . It was so inspiring hearing about @haroonmota ’s journey to starting up the organisation and showcasing the profound impact it’s having.
It’s also one of the best things when you have someone who you’re like “I’d love to work with them someday”, and then that project actually happens! I met @shaunleongwilliams when I first moved to Vancouver and it was brilliant getting to reconnect and collaborate on this project.

2024 began with a deep dive on the relaunch of @arcteryx footwear line for the Obsessive Design series. It was inspiring to learn about Pam and Josh’s immense experience in footwear design and the passion they both still have for the craft. Humbled by the opportunity to tell such large chapter of the @arcteryx story for the latest Obsessive Design episode on the history of the Alpha SV. Refining a story that spans almost 30 years to under 7 minutes was a hefty task to navigate over several months, but I’m really proud of where the team landed.

Feel very fortunate to work alongside @katelollar for steering us in the right direction and the gents @eastcherry for always showing up with a positive energy over the past few months!

Had the pleasure of running around New York for a few days back in October to tell the story of the amazing work @skills606 and @hoodstowoods are doing for the @arcteryx No Wasted Days campaign. Grateful for the experience from collaborating with the powerhouse and LES food guru @misterwinfield, to riding the bus with the crew and my first laps at big snow, almost running into Trump leaving the courthouse and learning about Serigne’s elite gate keeping talent.
