after just a bit more than one year of starting ALMA;RHYTHM, inviting one of our biggest influences and reasons, why this gathering even exists… there’s few words that can explain what we feel.
not just having him over though, but have all you people coming together, and show him that The Hague GOT THE FUNK!? and that we don’t mean no BS on the floor, now that means even more.

there were many moments where we just stood in that smokey, dark and sweaty room, and wanted to shed a tear or two out of happiness and fulfillment.
it means the world to us!

The first two categories of tickets are sold out. Be quick; once they are gone they’re gone - no exceptions!

Our mini-marathon of gigs this month has come to an end, and we want to give thanks each and everyone involved on this trip.

Of course not all gigs were full, some were empty dance floors, some were packed.
But for us capacity does not hold value.
As all we can do, is to express what we have to say, through sound, and that’s all.

Now what does matter to us is the culture, emotions and connections the world of music leads us to.
From Ewarts Jerk in London, random chats in waiting lines, or swims in the cities river laying in the trees shade.
Dancing on floors with strangers, and truly experience each culture from within.

That is why we love music, vinyl, and the people this world hosts. as it always leads us to places we feel are most authentic and honest.
as we are pushed by narratives filled with violence, fear and hatred. it proves to us that the world is a much kinder place, than we are told.
if only we step outside, smile at strangers, and maybe even have a chat with them.

What I love about dancefloors is that it holds a beautiful emotional space that is sacred and allows us to feel and move amongst other souls without barriers. This is exactly how I met @lonnyjoco - probably some of the funkiest dudes I’ve ever met and knew I had to be homies with.

Back in June of last year, when Theo Parrish took us on a mf journey on one of the most beautiful days I’ve had in Berlin yet (shout out @an.endless.groove @moe.elamin @__________edo__________ ), I spotted someone with an Attitude, Belief and Determination t-shirt who was dancing harder than most people around him. We later connected and they are for real some of the most passionate peeps I’ve met. They carry this passion in the events they host in The Hague, within their digging nature and just overall genuine personalities.

I am suuuuuuuuuuuuper happy to have them for @sobremesasounds and I love the approach they took. They told me they recorded it coming home after a gig and I’m happy to share it with you all :)

Coming home from our gig, where there was walls shaking and limbs sweating.
