Big thanks to @plasa, so much new and exciting stuff out there... Had a good chat with the folks at @instagridpower , a really innovative solution to the move away from fossil fuels, Caught an inspiring seminar by @maya.gribby with some beautiful imagery really pushing the need for playfulness and experimenting with light, something very close to my heart. I also managed to get to see @davidhowardlightingdesign run through a master class and teach an old @chamsysltd dog some new tricks.

Chamsys duck is now settled into her new home on the other side of the hills...

What an honor to be able to spend #beltane with such a creative, energetic and imaginative group of people. In these troubled times, creativity and community building is needed more than ever and to be given the space to share the skills that have been passed to me by opportunity and others teaching to such a receptive group is great. Over the last few days we've had the pleasure of working with @citrusartsuk to lead some workshops on outdoor lighting as part of their Art Worker training. More than a dozen inspiring, enthusiastic and creative people on their way to forming part of the next generation of Creative Practitioners have had a great taste of outdoor art creation and made something unique and very special. What a gorgeous night at @loveoldham Illuminate! We were there with Things That Light Up, our colab with @chrisballprojects and also Strands, the piece we made with Florence from @venturearts_ @sonamb__ @lazerian_studio @jonnygodsmark and our @lutnorth co-commission with @canarywharflondon and @loveoldham of Colour Rush by @lizweststudio fabricated by @m3inds - so it was amazing to see those pieces in new settings!!
