The concept of this routine was to be a continuation of the couple from “Best Part”.

If best part was the 1st date, this new duet is as if they moved in together & are making their house a home.

They’ve spent all day painting the walls, ordered takeout & are winding down at the end of the day w/one of their favorite songs & a drink.

🥰 This routine is meant to be very simple so that any of you who are watching can learn it at home even if you’re not a professional dancer.

🗣️ @galenhooks: “David is not just one of the bboys in the world, he’s one of the best dancers period. It’s been years since we danced together, so this was a real treat. The level of skill it takes to do what he’s doing in this video is incredible.

Yes, we’re having fun, but he’s taken choreography & turned it into a spontaneous improv exercise where neither of us knows in the moment what is going to happen. It felt like the most fun roller coaster of surprises- you can hear the other students in the room reacting like they’re on a roller coaster as well!

This is the kind of skill that’s so rare in new performers. Thank you David for attending & being willing to share your talent!”
