This project began as me writing songs for bass and voice nearly 10 years ago. I set out with the goal of being able to entertain with just my bass and my voice, playing songs that I wrote.This group of songs was all written 2017 - 2022.Over the pandemic I began fleshing them out, recording and playing all the instruments myself.They grew and evolved.I added Jim Kolacek on drums and percussion.Jim really, really helped bring these songs to life, as did Justin Tocket mixing em up for me.
I love songwriting and all it encompasses.Dreaming up these lil songs lyrically and musically, and working to achieve a cohesive combination of those elements, is probably the most fulfilling thing I’ve experienced artistically.I have been very inspired by the songwriters and friends that I have had the great joy of working with.I hope y’all find some joy in this!
