The State junior championship rodeo is at the Oakdale Rodeo grounds purchased by the Oakdale Saddle club in 1945 ( 20 acres) ! Oakdale is 12 miles south of Modesto and responsible for the majority@of the 40,000 acres of cherries grown@in California !
