st martin the catholic saint and roman soldier turned monk known for his charity usually depicted tearing his red garment/cloak nd giving it to the poor. here i give the last of my bread. the swans often seen depicted surrounding him and his stallion symbolise charity and migration. here they are picking at the crumbs. fiending for the scraps that fall.
behind all, a big grey block.
i wonder.
