Artpoint presents Göral, a Swiss light collective exploring the transformation of light from a point to a space. Their work lives between theatre, concerts and exhibitions - always starting with the space itself and how people interact with it. 🔆
Featured installation KNÄULED is set up in an old indoor swimming pool, alternating between linear and 3D light effects. The 800m long, organically shaped LED stripe dissolves the perception of light as a linear source into the perception of light as space. The multi-layered arrangement of the LED stripe allows to discover where light appears or disappears. Visitors can relax in deckchairs and lose themselves in sound and light – or interact directly with the installation at sensor stations.

VERNISSAGE UND AUSSTELLUNG | KNÄULED
Heute, Donnerstag 09. Januar um 18:00 Uhr, eröffnen wir im Pool die Lichtinstallation KnäuLED.
Der Lichtverein @goe.ral und Soundkünstler @candidrutter haben während der Neubad Residenz «FKK Digital» im Rahmen vom @lichtfestivalluzern eine eindrückliche Sound- und Lichtinstallation im Pool erschaffen. KnäuLED ist ein fast 1km langes, ineinander umschlungenes, durch den ganzen Pool mäanderndes, Lichtband. Durch einzelne Sensoren können die Besuchenden mit der Lichtinstallation interagieren.
Komm doch heute auch vorbei.
Die Künstler*innen sind anwesend, Häppchen und Getränke zum Anstossen gibt es ebenfalls.
KnäuLED ist anschliessend während des LiLu-Festivals täglich, mit einigen Ausnahmen, von 18:00 - 22:00 zu bestaunen.
