The hypocrisy and lies of the US war machine are an endless cycle that only benefits private defense contractors and those in the government that invest in them.The US has spent an estimated $5.8 trillion funding its more than two decades of war in the Middle East.

They defunded Medicare and education and every other benefit you as an American have the right to so they can send $3.5B to israel a year and drop missiles that cost at least $30,000 per drop! And that doesn’t even take into account the logistics costs. According to the Center for American Security, it costs approximately $6.5 million dollars a day to operate a carrier strike group. That brings the total for America’s current force presence in the Persian Gulf to some $13 million daily.

Who is making the most off of this war ????? Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.

Lockheed Martin — the largest Pentagon contractor, which regularly receives more taxpayer dollars than the entire State Department — saw its stock price rise 3.4% Monday.

The biggest winner on Wall Street this week was Northrop Grumman, whose share price rose a remarkable 6%, increasing the company’s market value by billions of dollars in just one day of trading. Northrop’s B-2 Stealth Bombers were used in the recent Iran strikes, as well as in the strikes on Iran six months ago. The B-2s cost taxpayers around $2 billion to buy and more than $150,000per hour to fly.
