Friends of Midtown planted 15 new trees this spring, with help from TreePennsylvania’s Bare Root Tree Grant and City of Harrisburg’s Department of Public Works

Friends of Midtown is seeking two creative and tech savvy volunteer board members to join our board as Communication Committee Co-Chairs!

Responsibilities include:
1️⃣ Website management using the Wix platform
2️⃣ Newsletter creation and email marketing
3️⃣ Graphic design and branding using Canva
4️⃣ Photography and media creation
5️⃣ Social media and content creation

Friends of Midtown is seeking an enthusiastic, organized volunteer board member to join our board as Treasurer!

The Treasurer will be part of the Friends of Midtown Executive Committee and attend monthly meetings to report out on the financial activities of the board. Responsibilities will include:

1️⃣ Oversee and manage the organization’s finances (deposits, payments, and reconciliations)
2️⃣ Prepare and present financial reports to the board
3️⃣ Develop and monitor the annual budget
4️⃣ Complete annual filings and ensure compliance requirements are met
