@kanna_musicofficialis a DJ and producer based in Fort Collins. Music has been an essential part of KANNA’s life for as long as they can remember. KANNA uses music as an emotional compass that helps navigate the wild universe around them. Through creating and sharing music, KANNA has discovered more about themself and hopes to help others do the same while building a deeply loving community.

Their hope is that each set can guide listeners through the next step of their journey, inspire creativity, or help foster deeper connections with others. But if all it does is make people dance, that’s still a win in their book.

Music Trivia at @thelyriccinema is back NEXT WEEK on Wednesday May 6!
We’re excited to have Starpass as our musical guest - the whimsical, indie folk, brainchild of Fort Collins artist Ilana Held (who also fronts the indie rock band, Mystee). Founded as solo side project, starpass quickly bloomed into a heartfelt exploration of unfiltered creativity and musical mischief. Held created starpass as a playground for storytelling, spontaneity, and collaboration. Drawing deeply from her British musical roots, she blends folky textures with playful charm. Pulling its name from Held’s other passion, roller derby, starpass is a love letter to the softer, stranger corners of her songwriting soul.

Every first Wednesday of the month 6-8PM, immerse yourself in a music trivia experience hosted by local musicians and certified music nerds Steven Davis and Tucker Valentine. We will delve into the vast and eclectic landscape of music, cover a wide spectrum of genres and explore some intriguing musical niches.
