It usually takes me about a week or so to recalibrate myself back in here and “tune” my ears again. Like riding a bike or something, or playing vinyl after a while of not doing so.
I love a new season- this time I’m focused on being more human in this space- inviting the imperfections in my recordings, being more performative when I record, ENJOYING THE RIDE even more!
After years of learning this stuff I’m finally settling into a new headspace. I was really focused on learning and refining, trying to go as far as I can, proving.
Ugh I’m so over that…it’s just music!
God is good.
