I translate the concept of wandering to the language of fashion: I understand it not as physical movement, but as a formal and conceptual detour. Wandering is not about moving towards a destination, but about searching for one. The sewing patterns resemble translucent maps - lines, dimensions and measurements that have lost their direction; they don’t help with orientation but instead function like labyrinths. The garment prototypes and patterns that appear on the mannequins simultaneously evoke the absence of the body and the search for form. My images therefore do not present the finished garment, but the process itself. The state before dressing up, where form is still in the process of being sought.

The designed garment draws inspiration from the formal and material qualities of the Baroque and Renaissance periods, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The exaggerated, sculptural shoulders and sleeves reference the dramatic proportions of historical dress. The patterns on the sleeves are my own designs, derived from Baroque ornamentation and transformed into stylized, distorted motifs, applied using an engraving technique. A key element of the look is the oversized denim basque peplum corset, combined with a velvet waist pad beneath, functioning both as structural support and as an independent element. The detachable fringe introduces movement and softness, creating a deliberate contrast to the rigid, structured parts of the garment and emphasizing a sense of dynamism.
