Today was probably one of the worse days of my life last year.
You made your exit and I don’t blame you this place sucks I just wish you’d have told me you were leaving. It’s no secret now, you knew. Idk how I would’ve felt if I knew it were coming but I’m bettering no better than I feel now.

This was hard old man. I FaceTimed all of our loved ones and watched one by one as their hearts broke seeing you in that hospital bed on life support. I had to listen to the crack in those hearts get bigger as each one of them told you they loved you the last time. Holding your cold unresponsive body wishing for a way to get you to stay.Breaking down in the arms of aunt Tonya when they pulled the plug and I had to watch you flatline.

Either it doesn’t get easier, or I’m just not that strong yet because I feel as weak and powerless as I did on that day.
